Sixteen year-old brothers, Boomer and Brady are fraternal twins with a twist: just like their parents, one is African-American and the other is Caucasian. Their lives take another unexpected twist when an island warrior visits their Chicago high school and informs them of their extraordinary lineage: they are the kings of the remote, mystical island of Kinkou. Boomer and Brady attempt to grow into their new roles as kings on an island paradise that is also home to countless odd superstitions and customs where one wrong step can wake up volcanoes and a vengeful mummy.
